7K a year 4 days ago 4 days ago 4 days ago Washington Central UUSD is looking for a full-time Medicaid clerk to work in our Central Office.
The Medicaid clerk will provide clerical support for Special Education, Medicaid billing and HR Background Record Check process.
Responsibilities include managing and using the EdDocsVt Database program, maintaining EDS Medicaid billing system, verify student Medicaid eligibility, obtain parent consent for claims, maintain file with licenses and certifications, create, track and process monthly electronic / paper documentation logs, generate monthly billing forms, meeting with AOE Medicaid Field representative, generate, track and submit claims for Annual IEP and 3 year evaluations, process Medicaid payments, remittance and research and resubmit denied claims.
Support to HR criminal record check for Staff and volunteers, via secondary dissemination, online records processing, maintaining CRC log, monitor for pending requests and filing in appropriate classification.
Candidate for this position will have strong communication skills, strong organizational skills and may be assigned other duties as needed to support Central Office operations.
Basic computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite, other computer software tools and using additional standard office equipment.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
