Responsibilities

Act as site team-leader during installations, ensuring efficient, safe, and quality work with adherence to high standard of installation, best practice, and regulatory requirements.


  • Provide leadership and technical expertise for the installation crew.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of system installation including photographs, as-builts, location diagrams for arrays and equipment, and existing site features.
  • Submit all documentation in a timely manner.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure all pre-installation requirements are met.
  • Responsible for assembly and repair of all components of solar energy systems, electrically wiring AC/DC systems, and structurally mounting racking and electrical equipment.
  • Assist the installation team with staging of materials and site preparation while maintaining a safe and organized job site.
  • Coordinate utility shutdowns and complete line side connections.
  • Test and commission electrical equipment including megger, VOC, I-V Curve, continuity, grounding, thermal imaging etc.
  • Ensure electrical code compliance as related to solar installations and inspections.
  • Ensure electrical PPE, tools and equipment assigned are maintained in good working condition or replaced as required.
  • Follow all safety protocols and adhere to electrical codes and regulations.

Requirements

Master Electrician License required in VT, NH, MA, or ME


  • NABCEP certification a huge plus

Minimum 2 years of solar electrical experience

Must possess a valid driver's license in the state where the work is to be performed

Must maintain a clean driving record

Physical Requirements

Ability to make multiple trips up and down a ladder, daily

Ability to lift, squat, deadlift, pull and carry up to 50 lbs., daily

Ability to work at the ground level, kneeling, or bending daily

Ability to kneel and stand repeatedly (lunges), on a daily basis

Comfortable in tight spaces (attic, crawlspaces, etc)

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
