Overview:
The Program Officer supports the implementation of ISC's fast-growing programs in the US, through research and writing, and various other tasks associated with the design and delivery of peer-learning workshops and technical assistance to communities - especially cities - across the country.

Responsibilities:
Participate as a member of a 12-person program team in the development, implementation and support of ISC's US programs
Conduct assigned research to support the development of ISC programs
Participate in developing and disseminating program materials
Participate in the design and delivery of training workshops and technical assistance
Assist with the development and implementation of communications strategies and materials
Provide administrative support to as necessary
Some travel may be required
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related area
Two to five years of relevant professional experience
Commitment to the ISC mission and goals

Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
Strong research and analytical skills
Strong work ethic, personal integrity
Ability to work effectively with diverse people from different communities and cultures
Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively and be a positive and contributing team member
Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing program priorities
Ability to prioritize work assignments appropriately and manage pressure of conflicting demands
Good skills in Microsoft Office suite, data processing, e-mail, internet browsers
Prior knowledge of/experience in the areas of climate change, energy, water, food and/or sustainable development is a plus

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
