Overview of Job Function:
The Business Development Executive (BDE) is a regionally based services sales role with responsibility for the acquisition, development and growth of profitable services business. The BDE will also represent the services division in the design, quoting and selling of new service opportunities.
The BDE will be responsible for building relationships with prospects, customers, Verint Practice Director, Account Executives, Sales Engineers and their leaderships, ensuring they are proactively engaged at the discovery stage of new opportunities and are viewed by the region as the 'voice of services'.
The BDE will be responsible for ensuring appropriate levels of due diligence are performed at the time of scoping in order to ensure detailed, auditable and accurate pricing is developed. The BDE will also be responsible for engaging with the customers to understand their environment, project challenges and ensure extended services needs are captured in order to maximize the value of the proposed solution while ensuring the solution is fit for purpose and accurately scoped.
Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:
Execute the Company's services sales strategies and achieve established quota in the assigned territory by identifying and closing business opportunities through territory management, target account prospecting and profiling;
Own the services relationship and is responsible for understanding the customers' business needs and direction in order to help them quantify and achieve their business objectives;
Owns the territories services pipeline and is responsible for both prospecting and closing services opportunities into Verint's top accounts;
Maintain effective relationships with established customers and develop strategies to maximize services depth and revenue opportunities;
Conduct face to face calls with customers and prospects and provides effective presentations/ written proposals to prospective customers;
Responsible for selling Verint's full services line by thoroughly assessing the customers' needs and presenting appropriate services solutions;
Build relationships and engage effectively with Project Managers, Tech/ Consulting leads and Services leadership to provide both subject matter expertise input as well as to gain sign off/ acceptance for projects;
Maintain a thorough knowledge of Verint products and technology, as well as industry trends;
Provide routine updates to with account activity and status;
Proactively maintain strong relationships with product sales team members;
Provide services management team with accurate and timely reporting of activities, including weekly and monthly sales forecasts, the status of the pipeline and results of prospecting activities;
Complete RFP''s and proposals;
Lead the sales to service transition process for all BDE's closed opportunities, including leading the customer transition call to ensure the Project Manager and Customer are aligned on the deliverables and expectation of the services sold; and
Undertake any reasonable duties as specified by Practices Director and the Services Management.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience;
Five (5) years' experience selling and scoping consulting, software or services solutions;
Product and services knowledge with high level Implementation delivery gained within Enterprise software and services based organizations;
Customer Relationship skills. Ability to build relationships and lead consulting engagements through incisive questioning, clear communication and a professional trust building manner;
Ability to prepare and present high quality customized services in written, presentation and project plan forms;
Prior technical writing experience with the ability to develop Statements of Work (SOW);
Maximize the services value to both the customer and account teams by demonstrating the value, approach and return on investment of the services proposal being proposed;
Proficient in Excel, Word, Project, and Oracle ERP;
Ability to capture service pricing in current tools that flow to the Service organization;
Proven ability to capture business requirements and price accurately;
Working knowledge of a CRM software, preferably ;
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to maintain professionalism at all time;
Clear understanding of a service solution with the ability to articulate how and why the solution was priced out;
Good decision making and problem solving skills - ability to make sound judgments; and
60-80% travel.
Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, and Social Security verification.
Preferred knowledge skills and experience:
Prior experience as a project or program manager delivering enterprise software solutions;
Prior experience with pricing enterprise software and service implementations, strongly preferred;
Working knowledge of Verint product suite highly desirable; and
Prior experience in selling or system implementation of call center products.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
