We are currently adding a Networking Solutions Engineer to our team. This position has primary responsibility for designing, integrating and delivering a wide range of technology solutions to the client. In addition, this position may provide pre-sales support, customer support and direct quality assurance for all projects assigned.
Networking Solutions Engineers focus on 1 of 3 core areas: Route/Switch, Unified Communications/ Voice, or UCS. This role may be hired for any one of our 3 core areas. This role may be hired as a Networking Solutions Engineer or a Sr. Networking Solutions Engineer, depending upon the experience, skills, and certifications of the selected candidate.
Networking Solutions Engineer - Route/Switch
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent experience. Equivalent experience is defined as 2 years of related work experience for every 1 year of missing post-secondary education, in addition to the required experience below.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with core route/switch Networking Solutions.
Experience performing base network installation and configuration services.
Desired Qualifications
Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) or higher-level Cisco certification, or the ability to acquire within 3 months of hire date.
Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) certification or higher-level Cisco certification, or the ability to acquire within 4 months of hire date.
Networking Solutions Engineer - Unified Communications/Voice
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent experience. Equivalent experience is defined as 2 years of related work experience for every 1 year of missing post-secondary education, in addition to the required experience below.
Minimum of 3 years experience in LAN Administration, PBX/Voicemail Administration and Network Administration.

years experience implementing solutions integrating VOIP, Instant Messaging, E-mail, and Voice Mail technologies.
Qualifications:
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher-level Cisco certification, or the ability to acquire within 3 months of hire date
Cisco Certified Voice Professional (CCVP) or higher-level Cisco certification, or the ability to acquire within 6 months of hire date
Prefer candidates to have CCIE in Voice
1-2 years experience with contact center design, implementation, and scripting experience preferred.
Minimum of 1 year experience with Video and Telepresence preferred.
Networking Solutions Engineer - UCS
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent experience. Equivalent experience is defined as 2 years of related work experience for every 1 year of missing post-secondary education, in addition to the required experience below.
Minimum 2 years of experience architecting, implementing, and/or managing virtual infrastructure environments
Minimum 1 year experience with VMWare virtualization technologies such as vSphere, vCenter management suite, Site Recovery Manager, vCloud Director, and View, OR minimum 1
year experience with Citrix virtualization technologies such as XenApp, XenDesktop, XenServer, and Provisioning Server required
VCP certification (or higher-level VMWare certification) OR Citrix CCA (or higher-level Citrix certification) required
Experience with x86 server blade and rack-dense technologies such as IBM, Dell, HP, and Cisco
Experience with NetApp (IBM nSeries), IBM, and/or Compellent storage platforms
Qualifications:
Experience with both application and desktop virtualization solutions preferred
VCAP/VCDX certifications preferred
CCEE and/or CCIA certifications preferred
Experience with Microsoft virtualization technologies such as RDS, AppV, & HyperV preferred
NetApp storage experience strongly preferred
Working knowledge of platform and network connectivity
Other Desired Qualifications for all candidates include:
Previous consulting experience preferred
Knowledge of project estimation and scoping experience preferred
Working Conditions:
Ability to drive automobile under applicable state requirements
Frequent travel (including air and automobile) capability required to various client locations - on average, 25% to 30%
Air travel capability required
