Summary:To provide a variety of administrative support duties for the Director and Managers of the Facilities Department at the Vermont College of Fine Arts in Montpelier, VT. This is a part time position, approximately 20 hours per week.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS &
Responsibilities:
Administer weekly payroll process
Attend meetings and take minutes with Facilities Director
Organize and maintain files, both hard copy and electronic
Administer attendance database. Track and reconcile PTO/Attendance.
Reconcile material purchases and confirm with CMMS system.
Reconcile vendor invoices when needed
Generate electronic files for backup.
Maintenance and upload of Safety Training Records
Create purchase order requisitions via the Procure Plus procurement system
Responsible for submitting all uniform related changes/orders

REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Education and/or Experience):
Strong computer skills working in Web based management systems.
Strong communication skills.
Strong organizational skills
Ability to resolve customer complaints and issues.
Ability to work in a virtually paperless environment.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
